What to expect and how to get the best from your Christmas photo's in 2024! This year I have some amazing Christmas scenes and backdrops.
How to get the best Christmas Photos
When booking your Christmas mini session I highly recommend avoiding nap-time. Book when your little one/s are usually most playful and happy.
Before you arrive I set everything up so we are ready to start when you arrive. sometimes your little ones take a little time to warm up if they are shy, that's fine we will start the session when we can. I will have all props, chairs etc available for your session so you do not need to bring anything other than clothing.
Ensure little ones are dressed in a suitably warm/ festive outfit. colours that match the background the best are the following: cream, gold, brown, black, red, burgundy, tartan. Clothing with texture always look better such as knit jumpers etc. Try to avoid anything with writing on or that could 'date' over time such as any tv programme memorabilia.
For the outdoor backdrop I recommend wearing 'warmer' clothing such as knitted jumpers, dresses, tights, l jeans, chinos, boots etc. I do have some beanie hats, mittens and snoods for the extra 'cold and christmassy' look.
